The exhibition

An artistic investigation by IMBRECH into the complexity of identity, existential tension and the invisible dimensions of consciousness.

Arquitecturas del ser y espectros de la conciencia (Architectures of Being and Specters of Consciousness) brings together twenty-five works on paper along a single path in five series. First, structure: the mind raised like a building, with scaffolding, roots and networks of black lines. Then the presences that inhabit it, the bonds that tangle, the conflict that breaks it. Finally, the specters return in color, rebuilt.

From absolute black to color, in charcoal, acrylic, wax crayon and pastel, each work converses with the one before and anticipates the next. IMBRECH starts from cubism, yet fragments the self rather than objects — to show how it is put back together.

The sheet is divided. On the left, a blue and pink cloud dissolves; on the right, a figure rebuilds itself in crisp rectangles of color, with a red dot at its base. Dissolution and construction happen at the same time. Consciousness is in constant motion, and out of that instability another form begins to emerge.
