Artist
IMBRECH

“I don’t draw faces. I draw what the mind does to them.”
Pedro Antonio Villalba Imbrech (b. 1991, Caracas, Venezuela), known as IMBRECH, is a visual artist who lives and works in Rio de Janeiro. His work starts from cubism to explore psychology: fragmented faces, simultaneous gazes and emotions translated into geometry.
He draws and exhibits on the city’s streets, where every sidewalk becomes an exhibition room and every passer-by a potential collector. The street is his gallery; this site is the room where the works live on.
Architectures of Being and Specters of Consciousness (2026) is the first investigation presented as a complete collection: twenty-five works on paper in five series.
